Buff Orpington egg production

56 eggs in 17 days. is that typical for 6 Buff Orpington hens? I haven't added any lighting to lengthen daylight. These girls seem to be always waiting in line for a nest.. I had 10 and rehomed 4 with a friend and they are all laying now too, The first layer, Henrietta started in October at 5 months, and is the smallest hen and the leader, and the larger hens much later but I think she is being challenged by a larger hen. I had no idea these chicks would be so prolific. It will be interesting to see when they slow down,

That's right around normal for Buff Orpingtons which typically lay 3-4 eggs per week per hen.
