Im on the hater side...i hate orps the lavender one i had was aggressive the other male i once had was so dumb he drowned as an adult. So would never get them again. And once the combs freeze off they look so ugly.

The combs aren't *supposed* to freeze off. You need to keep your birds warmer in winter

I have a coop heater plate that you put sideways in the coop for warmth and I live in FL. I use it when its 40°F or colder

Apparently the title means nothing and you need to spend more time reading all the posts. I am 110% sure any "buff" on here is a orp

I understand some of the haters' points about them though, like not calling them "buffs" because thats a colour... Not suggesting "buff orpingtons" to people as a breed reccomendation.
But orpingtons, buff included, are cute

I tried once to get a buff frizzle cochin but then.... The only ones they had in stock were barred and not frizzle

Not calling they buffs and suggesting them has nothing to do with the breed. We say buffs because it's quicker to type then the whole name

I didn't say that there's no buff birds besides orps but on here (a orp thread) orp is obviously what comes to mind
