On October 30th I purchased a S.R. Buff Orpington. I'm in South Central Kansas and it's super cold. So Charlie, along with my Silkie, Seabright and French Black Copper Maran have remained inside until the weather warms up a little bit more. Monday, I heard some crazy squawking that I've never heard before and seen Charlie mounting my Seabright (Ash). I was thinking Charlie was a roo, but that just further settled that suspicion... Until someone told me that hens will mount other hens. So I guess my question is, is Charlie a he or a she? Attached are some photos, please help!
