Ok if they are hens why would one of them have red scales on the legs? Does that mean there is something wrong with her?

May be the cold weather is making them red looking. I do know that BO roosters get red streaks in their legs thats from their hormones acting up. I've seen my Splash Orp hens have red sometimes in cold weather since some of them have white legs and feet.

If they aren't nasty looking scales (that could be a sign of mites) I'd say the cold weather is doing it to her. Just check her over good!

3rd pic looks a little rooish but I'm still saying hens.

Definitely hens.

The chicken in the first pic is a hen. If the comb is smaller then the others they should be hens.
