I have 10 6 em old buffs can anyone give me an exact way of telling the sex? I’m bird illiterate and I’ve looked at vents and feathers and combs and I still have no idea they all seem to have combs and lines for waddles but I just don’t know could someone post pics of a cockerel verses a pulley on buffs at 6 weeks or so?

Please do not attempt vent sexing on mature birds, or at all for that matter without being properly trained in it. You could end up causing serious damage to the birds.

If you start a separate thread with pics of your birds we may be able to help but at six weeks on a self colored bird the comb/wattles and leg size will pretty much be the only real indicators of sex available.
