buff orpington rooster x rhode island red hen

hello everyone. i just had a black and gold hen hatch an egg that is buff orpington rooster x rhode island red hen. there are 6 more under that hen. i was wondering if anyone has any pictures of what the chick looks like as an adult.

It can go either way. They can look more orpish or more like a RIR or a combo of the two.

Speckledhen's Nutmeg is RIR in color, BO in body type, with white legs.

i have a roo that i think is half rir half buff. he has a buff body, black short tail, a long komb, and whight legs. i will post picks of him later

I hatched out a RIR x Buff and it turned out BEAUTIFUL! It's feathers a a soft red with buff, like a red star with more buff. lol.

Its only a chick now though

Actually, I was going to ask what you would call them, b/c I have one too. She looks like a red orpington, which is what I have been calling her. I will take a pic later.
