I drove 2 1/2 hours to get my buff orpington. They are not nearly as common in Canada as they are in the US. Her father won B.O.B at the show. I had to find the man who owned these orpingtons and convince him to sell me one. I picked Olive. The biggest girl they had. She was very bullied when I first introduced her to the flock, but now she is happy and thriving! She loves grapes. That's her favourite. She isn't as outgoing as most orpingtons I read about. Most likely because she wasn't handled since chick-hood. I got her at 4 months old, and now she is 6 months. No eggs yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
