Buff Orpington thinks its a puppy?

So my Buff Orpington that is about 20 days old walks up to whatever hand goes into the brooder and lays in it.... is this normal??

It's not uncommon behavior with Buff Orpingtons which are among the friendliest and most gentle of breeds. My children and granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) have had no problem making lap pets of our Buff Orpingtons. )
