Just wanted to share this interesting breed combo I hatched. This chick is from my splash Brahma hen and my Isabel Orpington rooster. I was surprised to see that it grew out completely dark with full barring but my rooster does have barring as well it's just very light. It's totally a possibility that the hen was bred by my Columbian rock but all of my cr chicks are alot more white with some random barring on the wings and necks so that's why I'm thinking Orpington .
I'll attach photos now , the chicks about 4 weeks old, and newly hatched and the parents

Just thinking if I like how they turn out fully grown I might have to name them as my own breed 😅. Been having a tough time finding splash Brahma roosters or Isabel hens so this is the best combo I could do and Its fun to see the new colors

I'm not sure entirely what you have, but your splash hen reminds me more of my Splash Marans, than it does my Light Brahma. (Though I can't see the comb well.)
Perhaps she's a mix? I'm not that good at identifying breeds, though.

I don't know much about Isabel/Isabella, but it has the Lavender gene.
The Lavender gene needs 2 copies to present. Your rooster has 2 (that's why he's that color), and he can only pass on 1. Lavender is a dilution of black. So usually, chicks end up black if they have only 1 copy.

Your hen likely doesn't carry lavender. (Splash is 2 copies of Blue. It's also a dilution of black, but a completely different gene. It can't create lavender.)

And your rooster has barring (sometimes called "cuckoo")

Your chick inherited 1 copy of barring (from dad), 1 copy of blue (from mom), and 1 copy of lavender (from dad.)
So the color/pattern is a Blue Cuckoo split to Lavender?

I think both splash x lavender Cuckoo would throw blue not black chicks unless the chick is dark blue.
True, they would throw blue.

The splash will always give 1 copy of blue. So all her chicks are automatically blue.

The lavender needs 2 copies to appear lavender. Otherwise, they default to black. (Lavender Split)

I can't tell if the barred chick is blue or black.
If it's black, then the splash hen didn't lay that egg.

Is the egg from your splash hen?
If the barred chick is black, she couldn't have produced that chick

(supposedly, blue can sometimes look almost black)

It does have feathered legs so if the dam isn't the cochin, it has to be another feather legged bird if op has some.
Edit: it had pink legs like it's daddy, I'm not sure how those inherit.
