*Buff Orpington Thread!*

I'm not conplaining but I was expecting really brown eggs from my buffs but their eggs are different shades of cream and sometimes almost white like the house paint you buy called eggshell white.  Is that the norm for buffs?  I'm not that much interested in the different colors of eggs but just an observation.  Eggs taste just as good.

My Buffs are cream colored. Three different shades of cream.

I just got a new buff orpington pullet, and a barred rock pullet. They are both around 4-6 months old. The Orrington's name is Ester, from the bible. The barred rock's name is Ruth, from the bible. Any Idea when that they should start laying?
