MesMomma we took some pics yesterday of them I'll have to see how they turned out. They are at that age where trying to get them to hold still long enough to get a pic of them is like trying to herd cats in a lightening storm. The Wellie/BO crosses are larger than their BO siblings and are darker in color with Welsummer barring on their wings and tail feathers. I'm anxious to see how they turn out once they get their adult feathers. I think one of them at least, possibly two are little cockerels and from what I can see on the internet, they are very pretty birds, neither completely Welly or BO in appearance.

I agree the BO's are the friendliest. I have SLW and BR as well. They want to come up and be hand fed, but not necessarily handled. The BO's don't mind a bit

Not that I don't like my other girls, they are chatty and like to be next to you when your doing chores, etc., each one has a completely different personality which I really like.

I agree, I love all of mine too

BUT my roo...he's my fav! I love that guy, even though he doesn't want touched, which is fine <3 My grown hens want nothing to do with being handled, I got them from a gal that was rehoming her flock and I think they just weren't used to being handled, so I am looking forward to these new girls being more friendly

Today's day 18! I leave them in the hatcher for 3 day(until day 21) and they begin to hatch!

Oh... I see.... I would get a F in hatching eggs. But I sure think one day I would want to hatch a batch or two.
