*Buff Orpington Thread!*

Ok, dumb ? But Buffs do not come in another color right?? I ordered some from Murray McMurray's and now that they are passed the baby stage they definitely sent me the wrong chicks...

Buff is a color. The golden blonde is buff. You can have a buff chicken in just about any breed. Buff Orpington, Buff Ameraucana, etc etc.
Are your chicks not the right color?

Which color Orpington did you order?

Buff if the color, Orpington is the breed. They can come in lots of colors White, Splash, Lavender, Blue, etc.

I ordered Buff Orphingtons. I know buff is a color, but I'm curious if the B.O.s come in different shades? I have one that is cream and buff. I can post Pics tomorrow.

One of my BOs is a little more "white blonde" than the other. We call her Fancy Pants because she's sooooo pretty. Lol.

The bottom is an obvious Buff Orphington, but could they have mixed the other chick up? Or is it a very light Buff that will get darker when it's full grown? The 2 pullets are the same age.

The top does not look like a buff orpington to me. I would request a refund or replacement. It sure is cute though..
