They are gorgeous!! So fluffy lol

My late February girls still aren't laying... *sigh* I do love how pretty my cockerel is though. Except he's kind of a rogue and doesn't dance or court the girls, he just kind of runs them down. Don't know how much of a problem that's going to be...
mine is the same way. Yesterday he did the wing dance around me while I was squatted down petting an hen, I shoved him off. He come running back over and jumped on my arm and proceeded to try to mate with it. I pushed him off and held him to the ground for a few minutes, and he walked away.

Thought I'd sneak a photo in with her head buried in her feathers. She didn't like the paparazzi lol. She seems to walk about eat and then sit it off for a while (must be a hard life being a chicken hehe)

Question for you all - I have heard BOs start laying on the later side. This here is Fancy Pants who is just about 18 weeks and has had a huge amount of comb/wattle development over the last week or so. Any chance she is close to laying? My other buff isn't quite as advanced. This one definitely has a wider rear end going on too!

not sure about all Buffs...our first 2 buffs started @ 24 weeks, squatting 2 full weeks before & we got 2 soft eggs before first regular hard one. Wondering when our 2 younger girls will lay, everything with them is later. Lol
