Quote: I have 3 out in the coop, then a small pen with 7 chicks...Im going to build larger laying box area once the others are out in the coop. Thats what i was thinking about the table being taken out, is they would have a larger area to move around. We have a lot of pretty days, but the rains are just as bad, so there are days they want stay in. Im thinking moving the table out, making bigger feeders and waterers and throwing a couple of roost in there.

He sounds like a sweetie, I hope you find a home for him soon.Hey guys, I am trying to find a sweet home for my little Buff Orpington rooster. He is 6 weeks old, very healthy and sweet. He loves climbing on my shoulder or simply sitting in my lap, I sold most of my chickens a few days ago and since they didn't want all the roosters, he got left all alone. I am near Hillsville, VA and I'd like to get $5 for him. Please help me find this lil guy a great home!

We have the great British weather here so I had to put them in to their crammed pen a lot so what you're saying makes sense and if you're going to have a good 10 chickens later on then best to take the table out as you said.
