*Buff Orpington Thread!*

Pics
Here are pix of our 8 weeker. Husband is insisting we wait for the saddle feathers. He is in denial!

Babies arrived yesterday from My Pet Chicken. Despite the amazing packaging including heat pack, we lost two Wyandottes. The Buff Orpingtons are a hoot! Charlotte (after my 100 year old aunt) is very sweet and took a while to perk up. Jane, (after my best friend in high school who hates eggs) is a pistol. She was running the roost the minute they arrived and she eats like a little piglet! All in all, a great experience thus far. I can tell that the Buff Orps will be be a lot of fun!

I know this is an old thread, but I couldn't resist! We have 8 Buffs, and we love them all! They are 13 wks old, and are so sweet. Here are Chloe, Honey, and Susie enjoying a treat.

We got 6 BO chicks on the 12th, they are now 10 days old and still adorable! I M excited to see what they turn out like, here's one little girl "kitty" with our shepherd Eva.

Great picture, I'm in love with your dog! I've been begging my husband for almost 5 years for a shepherd. ESP a long hair one..

Thank you! They truly are the kindest, most smart and wonderful dogs. My husband said no forever to a shepherd so I just went out and got one lol when he got home from work that day it was love at first sight. Here she is with "her" litter of kittens we had. Hope it's ok these are chicken pics! Lol she would tuck them underneath her like a mother hen!!!

Okay so this is my 3 month old buff orpington and I'm starting to wonder if it's a hen or a rooster. I really need to know because if it is a Roo I know someone who would love to take him home, but if it's a hen I would rather keep it here with me. Please share your thoughts :)

compared to another one of my BO that's the same age

Awww she is too sweet! I'm pretty sure my husband would kill me, the last time I brought a dog home without his ok he didn't talk to me for almost 3 weeks... He did tell me I could get one a couple years ago when he was working nights so he knew I was protected when he wasn't home (we had a bunch of break ins around where we live).I was working 7 days a week at the time and wanted to wait till work calmed down and when it did calm down and I had time for a puppy He got off nights and said I missed my chance...
