*Buff Orpington Thread!*

Just got our first Buff egg!!! It's a small but tiny beauty. Our chicks are just under 5 months old. I was so excited I just had to post it on here!

I am waiting as well for my Buffs to start laying they will be 5 month of age at the end of this month.
I realy want some Hens to brood for me and make me some chicks and increase my flock instead of buying mail order or messing with the Incubator.

From a hatchery, Meyer. Couldn't find a breeder anywhere close by. Just getting 2 buffs and 1 SS, to add to our small flock. Only hens we have right now r 4 red pullets. They r pleasant, but not much on being touched. Hoping these, even coming from a hatchery, will be a little more friendly so the girls can enjoy them more.

My new babies shipped yesterday! So, I should be getting my 1st BO babies & my little SS girl today! Wish I could post some pics! But I just never can get them to work, think its because my Internet is soo slow.

Here's Henrietta at 9 weeks...She is simply the 'peach of my eye'...She has such a lovely way about her too...very stately even as a juvenile

I feel so lucky to have her...the only Buff Orp I have currently...she's in good company with her 5 Buff Rock friends though.
Somehow she knows she's different...do you think she actually sees that her own legs are white instead of yellow like everybody around her??
