And now, with out further ado, back to Buff Orpingtons.....

I was considering mixing Buff Brahmas (BB) with my Buff Orpingtons (BO). Any thoughts on the potential outcomes of this mixing?

Anyone ever tried this? Any suggestions on hatcheries that might have good starter quality BB's to draw from for this experiment? Obviously I am not looking for "show bird" attributes but egg laying, meat, behavior and healthy.

I still have her in fact; she's over 7 years old now.

She/he fell asleep all sprawled out along my arm.

The roo that is my avatar would fall asleep on me when he was 1 day to 4 months old. Then he got to big and would lean on me and sleep. I miss him.
