Yay, Rogersne,I don't see many Nebraskans in these threads. Your chickens are really pretty, I have one buff Orpington and she is a real nice bird. She is only a year old. She lays real nice eggs almost every day. Sometimes huge ones! Good luck with your birds.

Funny I also had IKe and Tina, They both turned out to be boys. Mike and Molly. Mike was a boy so he went to a farm. Lucy 1 got killed by a dog. Now we have Lucy 2

Thelma, Louise, Ethel and Edith r names I have had in my flock. Turkeys were Edith and Ethel. Duck hen is Louise and a little pullet I hatches who is a BO x Welsummer named Thelma. She is going to be stunning.

dont you just love chickens? I think they are getting to know the names. Ethel and Molly are16 weeks, Lucy 2 is 8 weeks. Lizzie and Rosie are 1 yr they are frizzled cochin bantams. Victoria is my yr old sumatra. Aeya and Kalisie are my 10 week frizzled cochins bantams. Snow white and Cinderella are my white and red silkies. Rapunzel is my 6 week black white crested polish. Jellybean is my goldlaced polish. Flower is my 5 week ee, butterfly is my gold lace wyndotte, Arial is my 5 week gold laced polish and Arial is my buff laced polish. Can you tell my granddaughter helped name them. What do you have

I like your names. I have 3 hens that are just over a year old by about 2 months. Chickula- Blue laced Red Wynaddotte. Egger- Black Australorp. Brownie- mystery hen. Sold to us as a RIR, but I think not. Some people think she is a BSL, but she was a brown chick. Perhaps a RIR crossed with a BSL? here she is if you want to guess.






Then we have our chicks (not so much anymore, but we still call them our chicks) They are 14 weeks. There is Weber- White Leghorn. Buffy- Buff Orpington. Sugar- EE. Honey- Welsummer. Ziggy- Barred Rock. We had a lot of other hens within the last year when we began our chicken adventure, but due to stupid predators (mainly neighbors dog) This is what we are down to. All their names are in my signature part.
