I'm loving my orpingtons! They are so sweet. Here they just wanted to all snuggle. About 6 weeks old.

Here they are at 5 weeks in their new coop.

I can't think of any cons of owning Buff Orpingtons other than they do not handle heat with high humidity very well (at least ours don't). For example, we have been having temps of 93 degrees with super high humidity and a heat index of 110 and I have to bring a couple of our girls inside during the hottest part of the day. If you live in a more temperate climate you should not have any problems as far as heat is concerned.
Buffs in general are sweet natured, friendly, good layers and make wonderful mothers. You cannot go wrong with Buffs! They will steal your heart!
