The babies are 5 weeks old now, and are little food vacuums hahaha. It's going to be difficult to choose a male keeper, I think.
Yellow

Red

White

Purple

Black

Blue

Green

They grow so fast

As far as choosing, I'm sure that will be hard. With boys, it's really hard to tell what type of personality they will have once they get older and the hormones start to kick in. Some that are sweethearts when babies turn out to be holy terrors when they get older. So sometimes it's a "wait and see" scenario. What is your plan for the ones you don't keep?

I have four buff orp chicks. I think most are male.one is 5wk old and #2, 3&4 are 4wk old

Well, just the 2 out of this group are looking like girls. We have another batch of 6 chicks, though, so it wouldn't just be 2 girls with whatever boy we end up keeping haha. But, we want a roo as extra protection for the ladies, and eventually for chicks. Plus.....roosters are absolutely gorgeous. So, hopefully one of these buggers ends up handsome and gentlemanly.

White is already a bit of a jerk....and we figure they won't exactly get sweeter when the hormones kick in. So he's at the bottom of the list.

Red is getting very handsome very quickly
