*Buff Orpington Thread!*

Thanks, Spice girls! I literally bought one $2. square of red felt on Etsy-(apprx. 12 by 18 inches). I cut strips about 1 inch wide the long way. I put one side up and through the other, guestimating a good size to fit the chickens---not tightly! I then used red thread and sewed them together quickly with an X design. I cut the 'fringe' last with a small sharp scissors~voila!

I gotta tell you guys, Buff Orpingtons are some pretty chickens! It's the only breed that I raise now.

I agree! I have 4, 3 hens and a roo. The roo tests me once in a while, but he's still young and takes good care of his girls. One hen has gone broody twice already, but I'm trying to delay her hatching until spring. She may stay broody all winter at the rate she's going. I was going to get a mix of chicks in the spring, but I like the idea of letting my little broody girl hatch out more BOs, because they're so sweet!
