An update on the birdzilla front.
After sitting around in the barn tossing treats out for everyone, I noticed a really disturbing habit the Cornish-Rock hens have when they're mounted.
Before the rooster has completely finished balancing himself, 85% of the time the hen defecates. The rooster then does his thing and both of them go about their business.
Once or twice I can understand. But this happened almost every time. From the looks of the eggs this isn't affecting the fertility at all.
