I just ordered buff orpigtons i ordered a rooster and 5 hens they are coming in 2-4 days

i can not see why it took them 3 weeks to get the shipping date which is today
 
congrats on the orps. buff orpingtons were one of the first breeds my wife and i bought. usually good temperament, nice bodied chickens, cockerels make descent fryers hens make good layers and occasionally make good brood mothers. if you decide to breed a few later make sure you trim toenails and spurs. these birds get heavy and sometimes a roo will tear a hen across her back.
the 3 week thing is more than likely the fact that whoever you bought them from didn't put the eggs in their incubator until you ordered the chicks.

i wish you the best of luck with these birds, and if you fall in love with them you might also look for lemon cuckoo and chocolate orpingtons there are several other rare colorations of orpingtons. some are extremely rare.
