We have 1 br pullet. She is about 2 months old and we got her 2 weeks ago. She is a sweetie. I wondered if she would be tame, since she was so old when we got her. She LOVES to be held. If she is out, she runs to us if she gets scared and she just loves to hop up in our lap and sit there for the longest time. She loves her head scratched. She is by far my favorite and she is not even laying yet! If our EE chicks turn out to be roos, or less than 3 pullets, we are getting more br!

Be careful. I have 10 Barred Rock chicks, born on 022311, and they were pecking the eyes of the Buff Rocks and Delawares. I had to separate them.

My BO ladies run for me every time I come outside. If I don't have a treat. they still like to hang around with me and 'help' me in the yard. If anyone comes to the fence they go and talk to them and make them welcome. Kids love my hens! They don't really like to be picked up all that much but won't object strongly either so they get to get petted by kids a lot.

When they run at me it always reminds me of "Chickens of Fire" on youtube:

-especially around 2:00 when 2 or 3 are running at the camera at once lol.
