Buff orpingtons feathers look bad

I can see the missing feathers, but those look like beautiful healthy hens to me. That looks like it could be damage from the roo I'd up their feed quality maybe offer alfalfa, I'd only give scratch as an occasional treat, and be sure they have free access to a bowl of oyster shell. They need that for hard shells. You can feed lay, grower or feather fixer, lay has more calcium. Soft shells and other anomalies are common when they first start laying. Ask at TSC what they have.
 
They just started looking weird the day we rehomed the guineas and they do have oyster shells in their coop. My husband is home cleaning the coop now.
