Buff orpingtons: my first chicken experience

I've wanted backyard chickens for a while, I've done a bit of research and finally decided I was ready. I bought two buff orpingtons today and am looking forward to watching them grow!
Is there any advice that anyone can give me on raising these two cute (hopefully) girls?

Do more research, a lot more. Ive learned that you never stop learning when it comes to chickens. It seems they are always doing something new or different. I would advise if possible you should go buy at least 1 more chick to increase the likelihood that you will end up with pullets. I started with 7 unsexed bantams and turned out 4 of them were roosters. Good luck with your new chicks, there tons of fun!
