I'm really wanting a mixed flock of layers that includes Orps, but am worried about them being bullied because of how docile they are. If it helps, these are the other breeds I'm interested in:

1.) Easter Eggers
2.) Partridge Plymouth Rock
3.) And either Danish Brown Leghorns or Anconas.

I would get all four breeds.

The Anconas are known to be a bit flighty but like the Danish/Light Brown Leghorns, they lay large white eggs.

Partridge Rocks are wonderful and often go broody.

That's awesome, because I think I want the Orps more than any of the others, except for maybe the Partridge Rocks

. I'm excited now, even though it'll probably be mid-August before I get them, lol.

I would get all of them

I have a mixed flock, including BO's, Leghorns, EE's, etc...and they all get along great! I love having the variety because I get bored easily... When I go out to check for eggs...I never know what color I'm going to pull out

That's exactly the reason I want EEs, brown-layers, and white-layers. I think I'll like getting all different colored eggs

. Not to mention my mom is still shocked, though supportive, that I like chickens so much. She'll probably want to give the EEs medicine or something when she sees the green eggs.

I read on that Chicken Chart thing that Orps tend to be bullied, but I guess that isn't always the case.

My BO's are EVIL. I got them from Ideal...don't order buff orpingtons from there. They are such grumpy birds, lol. The locally bred BO's I've had previously were very sweet and gentle, but large enough to not be bullied by the other chickens.
