Buff Orpingtons

I can't see the red bird in the first pic enough to tell for sure if it's a Rhode Island or not.

Buff Orpingtons should be an even, rich, gold color all over their entire body. No shading variation in hens, just a gold all over. White legs. Round, fluffy bums, shaped more like a ball than a tail sticking out back like other breeds.

I'm not sure that super dark bird is a Rhodie. The auburn and white bird is a red sex link.

Do you have a better pic of the dark red one? A face shot too?

Again supposed to be a Buff on the right. Buffs on the left hand side? RIR in back on the right. All chicks are 10 weeks old.

This looks a lot like a rir and the other one looks like a buff but maybe its a light sex link

Nope no buff orpingtons in there, I see red sex links, a Rhode Island Red, and barred rock. Sorry! :/

We have the same issue! Cannot figure out what happened... we bought two buffs and then the dark feathers came in on one. What is it?
