Buff Silkie... 7 weeks, Gender?

Might be too hard to tell from picture, but any guesses on gender?

my guess Roo. stands tall, has a comb comin on and that hair doo. yep roo.

I really can't tell from that picture. Judging by the roundness of the top knot I would say a pullet. My roo's topknot (8 weeks) is feathering very slow and much smaller than the pullets'.

7 weeks is a little early to tell, but I'm guessing pullet. The topnot is coming in straight versus "slickedback".

My buffs are the same age and I can't for the life of me too. They're combs are both already turning red though... while my same age whites combs are not red in anyway.

I think the pic is too dark... can you lighten it up some?!

At that age there is absolutely no way save DNA testing to tell, or even make an educated guess. Might as well toss a dart at a board marked with pink and blue spots to guess gender
