Buff Silkie Question

I dont know if this is in the right section or not but here goes my question does it take time for a buff silkie to start showing its color? i cant tell the white from the buff at this point thanks!

I dont own buff silkies but they should be yellow or pale yellow at hatch.(google buff silkie chicks and you will see some pics of them) they start showing buff coloring when the feathes start growing. but if they look white instead of buff then they are not buff or a mix of buff..
