Buff Silky Skin Pigment

I just hatched out four PB Buff Silky's. Two have the dark black skin and two have pink skin. I was under the impression that all Silky's have black skin. Any chance this color difference will tell me Male or female? Did we get some mixed? Very curious?

The parents could both be het for Fm, which would give 25% of chicks with pink skin.

It's the gene that causes dark skin. Fm is short for fibromelanosis.
