Buff vs partridge silkies

As for red silkies, that's a possibility. I find red kind of darker than I am looking for, since in my head, the red's are darker than the prartridges.

Heres my peep peep from a year or two ago. I am looking for a set like him.

Maybe I am hoping for too much though since I can't ever get his personality back. I think that's why I like him so much.

The primary difference between buff or red vs partridge is that buff and red plumage do not (or should not) have patterns on the individual feathers. By & large the birds should be a uniform colour throughout their body. Buffs should be a golden colouring; reds are more like the reddish colour of cinnamon.

Female partridges have patterns on ALL their feathers; male partridges have patterns on some of their feathers (noticibly their hackle and saddle feathers) and different coloured feathers on different parts of their bodies. Female partridges can be lighter or darker, but the colour should be uniform. Male partridges should have a great deal of black, particularly on hteir breasts.
