buffs

we recently added some Buffs to our Isa clan, the first morning after one of the buffs laid an egg and instantly pecked it open and started eating it. The other Isas got after it. Not sure how to handle it or what to do. Don't want the other's to start doing that

You mean the buff colored hen ate the egg, or your Isa? Buff orpington? Where did you get the new birds? Maybe there was a reason they got rid of the birds.

your chickens need calcium, so that the egg shells are strong and cant be pecked open.
