My rooster and her played catch the younger buff hen is tending eggs ? And the other 3 are to fat so she got it all ha ha

One of our 6 young RIRs caught a small frog last week and then spent about 5+ minutes running from her coop-mates; trying to hide in a corner, under the ramp- The others squawking, trying to rip it out of her mouth. Sad for the frog, but absolutely hilarious entertainment for us.

Oh nasty!! I love the look on their faces when they’ve got something that big, they don’t know quite what to do with it, but they aren’t letting the other birds get it congrats, it sounds like you've got an apex predator on your hands !
