Bug light

I have placed an old enclosed porch light with a 25 watt bulb 3 foot up on the outside of my coop. I turn the light on 1 hour before dark and watch my 16 chickens do bug dances. They chase, hop, stalk and eat bugs till lights out and bed time. I have to turn the light off to get them into the coop.

I've got a little solar panel and 2 small lights (walmart), don't attract a whole lot of insects but just enough to keep things interesting.

i had an outdoor brooder with a light in it this summer and let me tell you those lil bug chasers were very tired during the day!!
