Bug Zapper in Coop?

anyone ever thought about mounting a bug zapper in the coop to give them a few extra snacks at night?

I thought about it and actually bought one, but then took it back because the bugs just haven't been that bad. Still don't think it's a bad idea.

I have automatic lights in my coop that attract a good amount of bugs, I think the bug zapper might replace one of them for the summer

Good idea - as long as the constant TZZZZZZT noise dosen't make 'em twitch!

Actually they might wind up being conditioned to expect a treat when they hear it.
