bugs and grit, Help needed

i have week old chicks and dont have any grit yet because they only eat the chick feed, But i have lady bugs that keep fly into there brooder and i think they ate one, whould they need grit sense they ate it.

I wouldn't think it would be necessary to put in grit for 1 ladybug.
