Build up spots on eggs?

One of my girls is laying eggs that have small speckles of build up on them. I tried to take a picture but my camera is old and decrepit and you couldn't see the spots. What could be causing this? Right now they are getting pellets, BOSS and veggie scraps. Thanks!

It's a normal phenomena. Some hens have more excess calcium on their eggs than other hens do.
