Building a chicken coop/run

For the learning purposes of others building coops....I came up with an idea that resulted from a mistake in the build. One night when I was putting down roofing sheets I got to the last sheet before dark and thought I could nail the front edge of the sheet and finish the rest of the nailing of that last roofing sheet the following morning. Well, I forgot that to nail the rest of that last sheet and we had winds one day that were over tropical storm wind strength, (> 39 mph...I think it was actually 45 mph that day), so the sheet found the ground quickly. It was nice to see that the rest of the roof withstood those winds without even budging when they were properly nailed down.

So I noticed that the light in the coop was nice with the missing sheet which gave me the idea of adding a layer of opaque corrugated roofing under the asphalt sheet roofing that I used to create a kind of sky light for the coop. I plan on giving this a try and will post pics and my thoughts of the mod. This is fun.

Pics of the near-finished coop/run. The only thing left to do is to nail down the roofing in a few places that I couldn't reach. I'm going to get help from someone that is lighter weighted than I am.
