So, I've kinda fallen in love with these little D'uccles. I ordered them from Ideal .. and ended up getting more colors than I wanted

but I don't mind a colorful flock. These are a couple of the little cockerals that I'm going to have to place. I ended up with 5 .. I'm trying to only keep one .. a Blue Mille Fleur (which is what I ORDERED 12 of ..

Now when the coop is done for the LF girls and boy .. where oh where am I going to keep my D'uccles?? Geez .. I think I need another coop already .. Chicken math .. who can keep up with it???

He needs a Disney Prince/Hero name. A little swashbuckling, dragon fighting, princess-saving chicken!

That's a really nice photo of you coop in progress. I realize it wasn't planned, but the turquoise ladder, pink lumber, blue (?tarp?), orange extension cord......against the green background, with the sunlight coming in through the trees, it's an image that stuck in my head. I'm an artist and use to teach painting, photography, et al and always enjoy a good photo when I see one.
I'm sure your flock will be very proud (and safe) in their new home. : )

If I lived closer I'd come for little 'Jack Sparrow' or his yellow buddy..........I need more chickens like I need another hole in my head.......but I keep wanting MORE?!?! ACK!!
