Hi all,

I am new around here and i am needing some help as to regarding duck egg cabinet incubator what my aim is to build a home-made style duck egg incubator only problem is that the ones i found on the internet are quiet small in what i mean by that is how many eggs they can have i mean duck eggs

The reason i ask asking for this is that where my brother in law is located atm they do have them but very small incubators that can incubator duck eggs so i was wondering does anyone have any plans or instructions that can help me build a small duck egg incubator with a duck egg capcity of 300 to 1,200 duck eggs mainly atleast 300 or more would be good.

The reason i am doing this other than buying a comerical premade one is mainly the price it will cost to ship to my brother in law in fiji so i thought about build one with parts they can proabbly get in fiji?

So does anyone know and give me a hand on where i can find plans to build one that can hold that number of eggs?

Thanks,William

Welcome to BYC. Sorry no clue as to how to build such a large incubator.

Pretty simple. You build a wooden box with a hinged door, the size that you want. Put wire shelves in it. Use a thermostat and heat coil to keep it the proper temperature.

Somewhere here on BYC is a huge collection of photos of home made incubators. It's not in the forum section. Try the learning center.

I suggest either a glass door or a viewing window.
