Building a moveable coop , will this work ??

We want to be able to move our coop further away from our house in the summer , and closer in the winter (to be able to run power.) My wonderful husband came up with the idea to build the coop on a mobil home axle . Has anyone ever done this and willing to tell us how it worked out ? Do you have pictures ? Any help would be greatly appreciated !!

Any coop built on an axle and has a trailer hitch is a great idea and very portable. Great idea and please post pics when it is completed!

CHeck out my BYC page, I did use an old trailer frame that was sitting in weeds. Built a mobile coop. Took it down road at 35 miles per hour to show neighbor after it was done... He is an old farmer and was quite impressed. Once back were I wanted it I blocked it in place. But could still relocate 2-3 times per year.
