Building a pond

Forgive me if this has been done elsewhere, I have looked but have not found anything! Im wanting to build a pond for my ducks, I want it 6ft in diameter but have no clue where to start! Apart from just digging a massive hole!

ANY advice and help would be great! Many thanks in advance

I would say that you might need a pond liner or some big rocks around the edge of the pond to prevent shore erosion that would lead you to a shallow mud wallow after a while.

There are many threads on here with people and their ponds. Many ideas to. Some with just simple liners or a kid pool and others with huge concret ponds and pumps. If you search the site im sure you can find some. Thats how I got my ideas. I can try to find some and post if you like

I just ordered one of these:

It's a 6x1 galvanized stock tank. It should be here in a couple of weeks, I hope it'll work out as well as I'd imagine.
