Building an egg turner or buying one

I spent five hours trying to figure this one out.
If I have four trays and pay what $49 a tray that way to much money.
My understanding hubby would blow a fusses.
But what other choices do I have,

How about 2 now and add more as you need them?
I guess I don't know anything about your situation, but I can't believe that you are going from no incubator turners to needing to hatch out of 4 tray. If so, you are much braver than I am!!

I can believe it because I'm in the same spot. Just hatched 16, got LG bator full and hubby is making me a big bator from old refrigerator.
