BUILDING AN INCUBATOR - PLYWOOD - ANY HELP?

Grainger has a multitude of gear motors that will work. A timer for turning is created from a 1 RPH clock motor and a microswitch. Get a cataliog and check out the possibilities. They're many.

I've got their new catalog #399, do you know any part numbers? I've looked but truthfully don't know what I'm looking for....now I have a part name to look for....I do appreciate your help and don't mind waiting. My direct email is: [email protected]
Tomorrow I have my eye on a working Leahy Mftr Favorite Incubator, cabinet, 8 trays?....old but working - $150, have know idea if that is a good price, it would be my first incubator.

Have u thought about a semi manual turner? One you can turn from a crank from the outside of the incubator. It would take what; less than 15-20 seconds to turn a shaft? Mine will have a manual crank that turns the egs from the outside without opening the door. There are enough of us at home that we have no problem turning a crank 4 times a day between us. Cost is nominal.

Salley can't be far from me (GA)....do you want some company? .... You have figured this out sometime ago and it is old hat for you....I still have a baby bonnet on.....when it comes to this micro switch, roller switches, timing motor, clock motor, cam, swing arm, lengths, sizes, dimensions....it's sounding like to me, I would be better off buying the Dickey Turning Mechanism - complete for $116 (dickeyincubators.com)....when the Dayton motor is $89 #3M095....I can make the trays....all this figuring has worn me out...where my credit card???
