Building Chicken Coops for Dummies pg 263 Roost

    Hi,

    I cut most of the parts out for this roost but then realized the highest roost is much lower than I need. I like this design but want to make the back roost higher without having to raise the front bar.

    I'm guessing this involves cutting the uprights at different angles but I have no idea how to figure that out!! I'd like to do the back roost bar at least 4ft from the ground.

    Can you not just cut the back supports to 48 inches then hold the upper cross piece between the front and back support and mark the angle? Looks to me like all the rest would stay pretty much the same.
