I've got a new(er) horse barn with metal siding. I've converted one of the indoor stalls to a coop, but would like to use one of the exterior windows as an exit to a larger outdoor run. We are planning on free ranging our 16 chickens as much as possible, but wanted to provide a run when we cannot be home to supervise.
I would like to create something simple that can be placed against the barn so that the hens can come and go through the window as they please. This will most likely NOT be a permanent structure, just one to use for the next year or two until we're ready to build their own coop. Any suggestions on size and how to best attach it to the barn?
