Building Coop Design>I need help!

I don't know if this will work for you, but this is a cheap homemade waterer idea that we used. I got gallon jugs and hung them from the celine of out coop with rope. It works well and doesn't get water all over the floor, I had to teach the chickens how to use it by sticking their beak on it and making it drip. https://www.backyardchickens.com/web/viewblog.php?id=27917

Here is where we got our idea for our coop. I know your trying to design one using the barn. But maybe you could build something like it. It was an easy idea. We got recycled wooden pallets for the frame and then nailed up plywood over top of the pallets. https://www.backyardchickens.com/web/viewblog.php?id=6916-Coop_Design Hope this helps or at least sparks an idea!

5 gallon bucket with a lid, hole near the top of the bucket on the side. Fill with water, turn upside down like a huge mason jar waterer using a planter base just larger than the top of the bucket to set the bucket in. This would be a simple and cheap 5 minute project.

You could tap into the auto waterer, remove the fixture and rig a float valve for some sort of watering system. More expensive and time consuming.

Thanks guys but im looking for something different that is automatic. I already have one that use to be for the horses but it's to high for the chicken and it's to small. Can I add some pipes or something to it?

The black thing against the wall in the picture is the the automatic water feeder.

Do you have a different idea.........
