I am building my first coop for my ducks and I am a little clueless. So here are a few questions I need help with. 1) I live in Seattle so I wanted to know what I should paint the coop with to protect against lots of rain. 2) The roof, we are using A frames with plywood on top but I wanted to put something on the plywood. I like the black, I guess its tar paper? It looks like grip tape on a skate board. Is that called tar paper and is that ok for rain? 3) What is a good flooring material? I want to be able to hose it out sometimes so I need something that wont warp or rot from the water. 4) What's a good way to put in a drain? Like a bathtub drain. How would I do that? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

If you don't mind the "barn" themed colors, Behr sells a Barn and Fence paint in red and white. It is "animal friendly", self-priming, and a little goes a long ways. They recommend 2 coats, which on our 32 sq ft coop, we used maybe a 1/4 of a gallon of the red and 1/8 of a gallon of white. I live in the Seattle area as well, and could not find it in any stores, but HD sells it on their website for around $15/gallon.
