Building My First Coop | Journey and Questions

I'm new to this site and to chickens. So thanks for the advice.names john, I got the sickness.some how I went from never raising a bird three months ago to today I wanted ten, have twelve. My son somehow talked the lady at TSC into selling him one pekin with our first eight chicks. 5 glw pullets, only two are gold the other three are reddish orange All look to be hens but was confused 🤔.as well as three buff Brahmas. All was good for about two weeks then the chicks decided bill( the pekin was food, thank God I only left for an hour ) so I seperated them and back to TSC I went with a sob story and my son to try and get just one more duck. Nope so they had four buff orps. Left so I got them for fifty cents apiece on a Sunday thinking they would then sell me the one duck I was after.nope, so two more ducks it is. Now I had left some wiggle room with my wife because from the beginning I wanted a couple of special chickens. You know the ones no one understands why you would pay that much for a chicken kind. Now I'm five birds over the allowed chicken to wife happiness ratio 🤣but she's so great and understanding I talked her into letting me order the eggs from the lavender orpington and beilefelder I wanted.so with a bunch of great advice from the threads here I ordered a dozen of each, the sellers each included quite a few extras. They were quick to arrive but most had very wobbly/ saddles ac.i was hoping for a few chicks.on day fourteen four left the incubator as yolkers at the lock down there were five more that I saw something that appears to be still alive but with quite a bit more space left in the egg these were the eggs at the far side of the incubator. It averaged 1.5 degrees cooler. Day twenty now and I'm looking at possibly twenty to 25 chicks scratching my head. Waiting for my first chick more ruffled than any momma hen I've ever seen
